I am part of the Research Software Development group, within the Advance Research Computing Centre at UCL. We provide the tools and support for academics to reach better research through better software development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Software development and maintenance in various languages and frameworks
  • Fast learning and adoption of new techniques on a per-project basis
  • Teaching and providing workshops in software engineering for non-technical audiences

Developing robust and scalable methods for analyzing single-cell ‘omics data and implementing them as open- source software packages. Assisting with the teaching of various courses in statistics.

Analysis of (single-cell) transcriptomics, micro-array, and epigenomics data: clustering, differential expression analysis, inference of gene regulatory networks, etc. Close collaboration with experimental biologists in the lab. Contributed to various high-impact research papers.
